Join us for a poetry reading and workshop with award winning poet, Cecily Nicholson, on Saturday, July 29th!
Inspired by our current exhibition Interrelations: a third perspective by Abdi Osman, participants will explore questions of place and place-making inspired by the water, through poetry. Cecily Nicholson’s work can be found in the public art installation that is running through the time of the exhibition
Participants will meet at the Campbell River Art Gallery then walk (or drive for folks wanting to) to Robert V. Osler Park (next to the Quadra Island Ferry Terminal) Cecily will do a reading with the backdrop of Discovery Passage behind her, after the reading there will be a short break and then folks can come together for a poetry workshop, pens, clipboards and paper supplied.
