About this piece
This piece was painted as part a series I did during 2020 on the complexity and interconnectedness of trees, inspired by the forest around us and of connection and rebirth, both very central to the theme of renewal. At the same time I was undergoing cancer treatment through most of the year and that was the backstory of my personal renewal.
