We are pleased to invite artists in the Central Island Region to submit applications for the upcoming 2023-2024 YQQ + CV/A Arts and Culture Program.

The theme for this exhibit is Polarities and Junctions.

Polarity in physics is defined as two distinct and opposite poles that can either attract or repel each other. This term is also used to refer to the state of having two opposite or contradictory tendencies, opinions, or perspectives. Polarity as well as convergence can be found in nature, online, within political, social, economic and environmental contexts, and among people’s perspectives. We invite you to consider the polarities you observe and navigate as an artist and the places of convergence and junction where differences can be conciliated in nature, in communities and in global conversations.
