Pas-à-pas; not intent on arriving is a multidisciplinary meditation on mourning and memory by visual artist SD Holman, with pianist Rachel Kiyo Iwaasa. 

The opening celebration takes place Saturday, April 4 at 1:00pm. SD Holman and Paul Wong will share words with the community, Rachel Kiyo Iwaasa will perform Bach’s Goldberg Variations on grand piano, and attendees will have the opportunity to walk a labyrinth installation. Note that opening remarks will take place across the street at the Vancouver Island Regional Library in Courtenay, as the gallery space won’t accommodate seating around the installed works.

The event is free, all ages are welcome, and hospitality will be provided. The exhibition runs through May 30.
