Join together on Tuesday, September 30th at 10:00 AM for the Comox Valley Spirit Walk, honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Community members are invited to walk from Simms Park in a meaningful show of solidarity and remembrance.

*** Note that the poster above says that the walk will begin at Lewis Park, but organizers have updated and stated that the walk will BEGIN AT SIMMS PARK.

Along the way, the Comox Valley Art Council will bring the Art Wagon, along with a chance to listen to episodes of Ancestral Echoes — conversations between Elders and youth from across the Valley.

This free, all-ages event takes place on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation. Wear orange if you can, and come together with your neighbours downtown for this important walk.
