Art Summer Camp

Make Art. Make Friends. Make Something Together.

Art Summer Camp 2026 – Program Overview

Our Summer Art Camps invite youth to explore creativity through connection — to the land, to each other, and to their own ideas. Guided by local artists, campers spend three days creating art inspired by the natural world and life in the Comox Valley. Each camp includes time for individual exploration as well as a collaborative group project, where participants work together to design and build a shared artwork. Through hands-on making, storytelling, and reflection, youth develop creative confidence while learning about care, collaboration, and community. Welcoming and process-focused, these camps are designed for all experience levels — whether your child loves drawing, building, storytelling, or experimenting with materials.

Parents can expect guided artmaking in a supportive environment, with opportunities for campers to participate in collaborative group projects and learn from community partners. Each session emphasizes creativity, care, and teamwork, and no prior art experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

All camps will be located at the Lake Trail Community School.

Registration is open until all spots are filled

A 100% refund will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the start of camp. Cancellations made after this time are not eligible for a refund.
