Membership
Comox Valley Arts is a membership-based arts organization serving the Comox Valley. Members experience a range of benefits and are provided with the opportunity to engage in impactful and meaningful arts-based community programming. You don’t have to be an artist to be a member, we welcome anyone who is interested in contributing to bringing more arts and cultural experiences to our community, all levels of experience and backgrounds.
Comox Valley Arts values a robust membership community that is free of barriers to participation. As such, our member program is now a sliding scale or “pay what you can” model. Additionally, if you are a member of an equity deserving group, including people who identify as Indigenous or BIPOC, we are providing memberships for free.
We Support Artists
Comox Valley Arts aims to support local artists at all levels of practice, from emerging to professional. We support, promote and provide programming designed to help artists develop their skills and provide opportunities and connections to have work publicly displayed.

Testimonials
“The 30 Day Drawing Challenge has been really inspirational and transformative for me because it shows me I am capable of more than I thought. It has also reassured me that art is something that I love to do.”
-Lindsay, artist in Campbell River
“After my first event with CV Arts, I was blown away to see what this team can pull off with such a small (but powerful) group of people. I already feel part of the team and seen how willing they are to encourage my particular interests and skills. I can’t wait to see what we have planned for next year.”
Rebecca, CV/Arts Volunteer
“I was so excited to have the opportunity to bring my masks, fashion pieces, and poetry to life in the Digital Creation Hub. I make art for myself, and wearing tulle capes and cardboard masks at home is fun! But documenting my art in a professional setting allows me to share it with the world, to challenge myself, and to elevate my practice. Recording at the Digital Creation Hub helped me see myself as a legitimate artist – an illusive and treasured gift.”
-Liza, artist and poet
