Learn to look closer and see the world anew.
Campers will practice observation, perspective, and attention to detail through individual drawing and design challenges. The week culminates in a collaborative project that transforms everyday objects into a shared visual experience, encouraging new ways of seeing.
Perfect for: kids who are curious, thoughtful, and love visual problem-solving.
Learning Outcomes
Campers will:
– Learn to slow down and notice detail, texture, and form
– Explore how perspective, scale, and abstraction change meaning
– Build creative confidence through experimentation and reflection
– Practice teamwork while building a shared visual project
Art Making Activities
Individual: Close-up drawings and perspective studies of everyday objects
Group: A collaborative installation or “gallery” that transforms ordinary items into new visual experiences
A 100% refund will be provided for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the start of camp. Cancellations made after this time are not eligible for a refund.
