Awakening: Spring Members Showcase at Pearl Ellis Gallery

Spring arrives with light, colour, and a renewed sense of possibility – and at the Pearl Ellis Gallery, it also brings Awakening, the 2026 Spring Members Showcase.

Running from March 3 to March 28, this much-anticipated exhibition features original work by 40 local artists. From bold, expressive pieces to quiet reflections on the changing season, the show celebrates personal vision across a wide range of mediums, including painting, photography, fibre art, jewellery, and more.

An opening reception will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 1 to 3 pm. Visitors are warmly invited to meet the artists, explore the exhibition, and enjoy light refreshments in an inviting and creative atmosphere.

The Members Showcase highlights the strength and diversity of the Pearl’s artistic community – from established artists to those exhibiting new work. All artwork is available for purchase, along with a curated selection of locally made art cards.

Pearl Ellis Gallery is a volunteer-run, non-profit gallery dedicated to supporting and celebrating the arts in the Comox Valley. Located at 1729 Comox Avenue in downtown Comox, the gallery offers free admission and is wheelchair accessible.
