What does Sacred mean? It means worthy of veneration, reverence and respect. Many individuals, families and cultures believe that we are part of nature, nature is sacred and that the natural cycles of birth, growth and death observed and experienced in the world can be a powerful point of connection for community.
The winter solstice offers us the chance to connect with the dark in nature, to whisper “see you soon” to new life and new hope, and share light with our friends and neighbours.
