Sewists who love making art and want to blend the two will love this weekend intensive with Marni McMahan. Working over three mornings, you’ll get a deep dive into Abstract Quilts!

In this class you will learn strategies for designing your own abstract quilts and techniques for sewing your design together.

We will work in black, white and greys to simplify our choices and thus focus more easily on composition and value.

Materials are provided, to simplify the process.

*Please note: you will not have a completed quilt at the end, our focus will be on the artful quilt top. Some sewing experience is necessary to get the most out of this course. You are welcome to bring your own machine or use ours.
