Watershed Press, part of Cascadia Poetics Lab, is hosting a weekend to celebrate the  launch of Cascadian Zen Volume One in Cumberland, BC. on the 24th and 25th of August 2024. There will be talks by an Indigenous elder, poets, and philosophers, a poetry bash, and a poetry workshop.

Aug 24, 2 pm: poetry workshop by Seattle poet Paul Nelson on spontaneous composition, sliding scale $25 to $75.

Aug 24, 7 pm: “What is Cascadian Zen?” a talk by the editors of Cascadian Zen (Wirth, Nelson and MacWilliam) followed by Cascadian Zen anthology contributor
readings and drinks at the Waverley Pub.
