Join CV/Arts, The Immigrant Welcome Centre and the Artists to celebrate public art and community engagement!

Mark your calendars for September 13 at 5:00 PM. Comox Valley Arts and the Immigrant Welcome Centre (IWC) invite you to attend the official opening of the new mural at the LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada) space. Beautifully designed and painted by local artists, Cora Silvestru and Emily Thiessen, the mural is an exemplary example of effective public art that gracefully tells the story of the newcomer experience. Join us to hear from the artists and community for which it was created.
